Music Learning App

GUITARTIST

Master guitar through the Circle of Fifths. Interactive chord transitions, real-time feedback, and beautifully visualized music theory - all in your pocket.

? The Problem

  • > Learning chord transitions is frustrating without proper guidance
  • > Music theory feels abstract and disconnected from actual playing
  • > Most guitar apps focus on tabs, not understanding harmony
  • > No visual way to see how keys and chords relate
  • > Progress tracking is often gamified fluff without substance

+ The Solution

  • > Interactive Circle of Fifths as the central navigation element
  • > Visual chord diagrams with fingering positions and transitions
  • > Practice mode for smooth chord-to-chord movement
  • > Real-time pitch detection for feedback (coming soon)
  • > Common progressions library (I-IV-V, ii-V-I, etc.)

What makes GUITARTIST different

O

Interactive Circle of Fifths

Learn the chord progressions behind thousands of songs. I-IV-V-I for rock, ii-V-I for jazz, I-V-vi-IV for pop hits.

*

High-Performance Fretboard

Built with React Native Skia for butter-smooth animations. The fretboard renders at 60fps even on older devices.

/

Built-in Metronome

Practice transitions at your own pace. Start slow, build muscle memory, and gradually increase tempo as you improve.

"Understanding the Circle of Fifths was the breakthrough moment in my guitar journey. Everything suddenly made sense - why certain chords sound good together, how to transpose songs, and how to improvise."

How It Works

01

Choose Your Key

Tap on the Circle of Fifths to select any key. The app instantly shows all diatonic chords in that key with their functions (I, ii, iii, IV, V, vi, vii).

02

Select Starting Chord

Pick the chord you want to practice from. See detailed fingering diagrams and hear how it sounds. Multiple voicings available for each chord.

03

Practice Transitions

Enter transition mode and select your target chord. Visual guides highlight which fingers need to move and the most efficient path between positions.

04

Master Progressions

Once comfortable with individual transitions, practice complete progressions. The metronome helps you stay in time as you work up to performance speed.
